First produced in 2007 the Guado al Tasso Il Matarocchio is a single vineyard 100% Cabernet Franc, inspired by the desire to create a wine that displays the maximum expression both of a single grape variety and a single vineyard plot. Only produced in exceptional vintages this is a wine of great elegance and depth. The nose is very intense and complex with notes of chocolate, blackcurrants, and blackberries along with varietal aromas which confer a unique personality.
